My obsession began when I was about 13 and saw Kylie Minogue rocking a pair of dazzling gold pumps; from that moment on, I was hooked. A visit to the Design Museum on the Southbank fed to my addiction. There, Louboutin presented all of his favourite shoes, displayed in the most vivacious way. I have to admit, although I left the exhibition feeling in awe and inspired, I also left feeling a little downhearted. Everyone else who attended had flaunted their favourite pairs of Loubs on their feet, causing my Accessorize flats to look substandard to say the least.
However, all of that was destined to soon change, due to the forthcoming Matches clearance sale, which brings me on to my (small) Louboutin Collection. (There's a sentence I never thought I would say!)
Pair number one, otherwise known as Tibu 120mm Veau Velours in Patent/ Suede (or at least that's what it says on the box).
These were the first pair I ever bought and are bold to say the least! I like to wear them with a simple black dress and minimal accessories.
Beware, these are the most difficult shoes to walk in and should come with a health warning!
Pair number two, the Fifi 85 Nappa Laminatos.
The next pair I bought were also from the Matches sale, but were quite a surprise find. Unlike all the other shoes in the sale, these ones were second hand and you could tell they had been well loved. I tried them on and oh my goodness were they comfortable. When I looked at the price, it said £90. I thought that was a little steep for the condition so asked if that was the right price. The shop assistant took out the shoe box and to my delight, on the side was a big £50! Of course, I was completely delighted and snapped them up immediately before anyone else could get their paws on them.

As you can see from the picture, the sole has come up a little at the heel and the end of the heel has worn down quite a bit. Lucky for me, you get a spare one in the box!
Also, if you were wondering, these were originally £385, giving me a saving of £335!
Pair number three, the suspenodo flat glitter flock in patent leather and PVC.
I got given these this Christmas as a present from my parents (best Christmas present in the history and probably the future of Christmas presents ever!) We visited every single stockist of Louboutins in the London area to find these, but unfortunately had no luck as they were sold out everywhere. However, as soon as I got home I started looking for them online and the first website I visited (NET-A-PORTER.COM) had them in my size and in stock!
On the subject of sizing, I'm usually a 38 in Louboutins, but in these, i'm a 37 and a half...mysterious...
As you can see in this picture, these shoes are very slim and so probably wouldn't be comfortable on people with wider feet.

Even Bertie was intrigued by the Louboutins!
I couldn't keep him out of them!
